Friends of Hickory Nut Gorge
The Friends of Hickory Nut Gorge, a group, formed earlier this year, determined to protect the beauty of the Gorge, needs immediate help to steer all the critical parties towards a solution that keeps Chimney Rock Park preserved. The best option for preservation is for the park owners to continue to negotiations with the State of North Carolina. Other options are possible as well, but become increasingly complex. Key officials in the process must know NOW, how important preservation of this park is to you and your family.
Otis the cat says, "With your help, We Can Protect Chimney Rock Park!" It is very important to protect this legacy property and to do everything possible to encourage the State of North Carolina to buy Chimney Rock Park.
